While there are more unicorns every year, the numbers on the dark side too are not budging! Still 90%+ failure rate, 50%+ after raising money and so forth! While there is greater awareness about product, MVP, tech stacks, funding, bizdev and related factors, one fundamental factor often missed in many conversations is “Why do I/we want to start up?” Lack of clarity on this can perhaps cause the greatest risk to a startup.
